I recently had an article appear in Distinctly Montana magazine featuring my favorite scenic, rural routes in the winter. The article included several winter photos from my collection. You can see the article here.

This coming month I will have another article published in Distinctly Montana magazine. This one is about the Shonkin Sag. Located along the northern edge of the Highwood Mountains in Chouteau County, Montana, the Shonkin Sag is a huge geological feature carved from the Earth’s crust during the last ice age from glacial meltwater. It is one of the most incredible prehistoric meltwater channels in the world, yet very few people know anything about it.
