In addition to my own calendar, every year I’m asked to provide photos for calendars published by others elsewhere, too. Such is the case with Western Horseman, a monthly magazine that has been published since 1936. It features articles on Western riding, the breeding and care of horses, horse training and tack, and ranching. They publish a cowboy calendar every year and I often have a photograph or two in it.

My photo of Daryl Mitchell, of Cleveland, Montana, rounding up cattle on the Kellam Ranch a few years back appears as the featured photo for one of the months. That photo is included below.
