One of my favorite equine photos will appear on the cover of the summer edition of Range Magazine in the next few weeks. It is my fourth cover shot on the magazine.
The photo of a cowboy riding a horse also includes some more of my equine photography inside. This particular photo is of Rylan Mitchell, of Havre, Montana. It was taken a few years back on the Kellam Ranch during the branding season. Rylan has never been a big fan of my camera and will often hide when I come nearby. This was a perfect photo for him. Not only will get to brag that he was on the cover of a magazine, but this wide angle photo of the front of a horse perfectly hides him from view. I’m sure he will be happy.
