One of my cowboy photos won Country Magazine’s 2017 Country Life Photo Contest recently. It was the second year in a row I won the contest. Here is the two page spread featuring my winning photo in the February/March 2017 issue of Country Magazine.

This is a documentary photo of cowboys herding cattle on a ranch near Cleveland, Montana. The men were bringing their herd of black Angus cattle into the corral in order to be branded. It is just one of the many cowboy photos I have made over the years, and it is also one of my personal favorites, too.
