The one thing you learn when you indulge in cowboy photography is the fact that American cowboy culture is very popular overseas. Because there aren’t a lot of cowboy photographers, seldom does a week go by when I’m not contacted by someone in Asia or Europe seeking more information about my western photos and photos of cowboys. In fact, a few months ago my photos were published again in the French magazine “American Legend,” which is dedicated to American culture and the heritage of the American west.

Below are a few of my ranching photos that appeared in “American Legend” magazine recently. Unless you are fluent in French you won’t be able to reach much of what was written, but it is kind of neat to see other countries (especially France) pay tribute to the American cowboy. And having a chance to see my cowboy photographs published it is also good thing.
