This week’s edition of 20+ photos includes photos I have made at Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone National Park is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features. Widely considered the world’s first national park, Yellowstone is a remarkable place to visit and photograph.

Though Yellowstone National Park is a six-hour drive away for me, I try to visit it a couple times each year. There is something special about being surrounded by buffalo and elk. Steaming geysers and tall evergreen trees also offer a remarkable backdrop for this out-of-this-world place.

Situated on top of the massive caldera of a super volcano, the many geothermic sites, waterfalls, and extreme landscapes at Yellowstone National Park are exciting to photograph.
